# Remote Access Pre-Requisites

> Prerequisites and instructions for accessing the remote server

## Prerequisites

To make the best use of these documents, you must already have access to Cloud.Red, have worked with WorldTech IT to onboard your managed hosts, and have a basic understanding of navigating the Cloud.Red portal.

Further – various functions highlighted in these documents will require elevated roles to execute. For example – you may need Edit or Admin rights on the Account, Agents, or Device Groups to execute. If you do not have the necessary rights to execute a required function, please consult your client administrator.
