High Level Architecture
Cloud.Red High Level Architecture
Cloud.Red allows WorldTech IT to provide purpose-driven apps for F5 and NGINX solutions.
The high-level architecture looks like this:
The center of this architecture is the Cloud.Red on-premises virtual machine. It handles connections to your hosts, reads and accepts data from your hosts, and phones home to the Cloud.Red service. During onboarding, your managed hosts will need to be provisioned to push appropriate data and allow the pull of appropriate data. Further, the Cloud.Red on-premises virtual machine will be provisioned to securely phone home to Cloud. Red’s’ Secured Ingress.
- Cloud. Red’s Secured Ingress carries traffic to both Cloud.Red Management Services and Cloud.Red Observability services.
- Cloud.Red Management Services is where the Cloud.Red on-premises virtual machine will phone home to use its API for features such as Backups, command, control, etc.
- Customer Blob Storage are optional supported blob stores, maintained by the customer, for remote storage of data, such as UCS backups, etc. (advanced option, please discuss with WTIT engineering)
Cloud.Red Observability Services is where the Cloud.Red on-premises virtual machine will phone home to push data received from your managed hosts. Additionally, Cloud.Red Management Services pushes data, such as logging, to Cloud.Red Observability Services.
https://portal.cloud.red is where users, per their permissions, can interact with Cloud.Red Management Services and Cloud.Red Observability Services.
